What does Cleana do?

Cleana is an app designed to help iOS and Android users free up storage by

detecting and deleting duplicate photos, similar videos, screenshots, and

unnecessary media files. It uses advanced AI algorithms to analyze your

media library, allowing you to clean up your device efficiently.

Can I clean videos using Cleana?

Yes, Cleana can scan and categorize videos, including large videos, duplicate

videos, and very short videos that were accidentally taken. It helps you delete

unnecessary videos to free up more space.

How does Cleana categorize photos and videos?

Cleana categorizes your media into Similar, Duplicates, Screenshots, and

Other. It uses its AI to select the best photo from similar sets and suggests

removing the rest. For videos, it detects large, duplicate, or unnecessary short

clips.

Is Cleana safe to use?

Yes, Cleana processes your media locally on your device. It does not upload

or store your photos or videos. The app requires access to your photo library

but does not share your data with any third parties.

Why don’t I have free space on my phone after the cleaning process?

When you delete media using Cleana, the files are moved to your iOS

“Recently Deleted” folder, where they remain for 30 days. To free up space

immediately, you can manually empty this folder in the Photos app.

How do I recover deleted photos/videos?

Deleted photos and videos are moved to the “Recently Deleted” album in

your Photos app, where you can recover them within 30 days. After 30 days,

they will be permanently deleted.

How does Cleana choose the best photos?

Cleana uses AI algorithms that include face recognition, photo comparison,

and metadata analysis to identify the best photo in a set of similar images. It

marks the best one while suggesting others for deletion, but you have the

final say on which to keep.

Is Cleana free to use?

The scanning feature of Cleana is free. However, to delete the detected

duplicate or similar media, you’ll need to subscribe to either the weekly or

lifetime subscription plan.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription, follow these steps:

1. Open the App Store app on your device.

2. Tap your name (or Sign In if you’re not signed in).

3. Go to Account Settings.

4. Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap Manage.

5. Locate the subscription and tap on it.

6. Tap Cancel Subscription. (You may need to scroll down to see this

option.)

How do I request a refund?

Cleana cannot process refunds directly for payments made through the

Apple App Store. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact

Apple Support to request a refund.
